Message from the President

The stagnation in Japanese politics and the economy has ended with the beginning of the LDP’s new administration. Taking into account a large national budget, measures to bail the nation out of a deflationary spiral, and the trend of a weaker yen, Japan must resume moving forward by making this year the first year of the Japanese Revival Era. Although clearly no one can predict what will happen next, I know what our company must achieve this year: we, too, must move forward by bolstering our competitiveness and by committing ourselves to manufacturing high-quality products based on the MONOZUKURI philosophy of artisans.

 

To bolster competitiveness, we need clear-cut goals and specific plans to achieve them. And it is urgent to develop a capacity to respond quickly to changes. Therefore we must enhance our services to prevail against competitors from the major economic powers. 

 

Firmly keeping our founder’s spirit in mind, we are determined to uphold that spirit and to be faithful to our management philosophy, adhering to our mission, our goals, and our behavioral guideline, while considering the opinions of our customers.
